Columbia University School of the Arts

responsive website

The purpose of the Columbia School of the Arts site is twofold: to provide course information, and to showcase student and alumni art. We wanted the site to be easily navigable while still feeling immersive. We decided upon a side navigation that stays fixed to the side of the browser while content scrolls by to promote ease of navigation.

Lead Designer

maximum flexibility

This site is built on drupal with a focus on complete flexibility for the administrators at SoA. I worked extensively with our strategy team to define an array of modules that would meet all of the client’s content needs. I then designed instances for each module that would account for their placement in any area of the page.

customizeable profiles

The side-navigation gives the site additional consistency across desktop and mobile.
